Inès Rabadán lives and works in Brussels.
After a master’s degree in philology at the ULB, she studied directing at the IAD.
She writes and directs fiction films and documentaries, with a particular interest in the invention of narrative forms.
She is also a coach for film projects, and a teacher in Arts (ERG, Brussels) and in Cinema (INSAS, Brussels)

From 2011 till 2017, she has been a member of the film selection commission of the Cinema Center of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
In June 2015, she became the first woman to chair SACD Belgium, and to sit on the board of SACD Paris.
As president of the SACD she conceived and initiated projects in favor of the new writings (VR in Bozar in particular), and in favor of creative women (Master Class on gender stereotypes / parity prizes and scholarships / renewed communication of the Maison des auteurs and others).
She is regularly invited to speak on "gender and media" issues (eg : Sept.2018 : speech at the 5th "RTBf-Culture" meeting)

She is currently editing an experimental film : "Les vivants", and preparing the feature film "Les Fluides" produced by Need Productions.

Inès Rabadán’s films have been broadcast on Arte, Canal + F, RTBf, TSR, RAI, they have been screened at the Pompidou Center, Bozar, DocLeipzig, Clermont-Ferrand, Fimer à tout Prix, FIPA Biarritz, Lussas, Paris Forum des Images, Crossing Europe Linz, WomenFF Uppsala, Women FF Creteil, Montreal, Mannheim, Santiago de Chile FF, Buenos Aires FF, FIFF Namur, Vancouver ...
Her work has been awarded in Clermont-Ferrand, Chicago Film Festival, Grenoble, Vendome, Brest, Huy, Brussels, Aix en Provence, Docs in short Lyon, Etoile de la Scam.
